We're an a cappella quartet from southeastern Pennsylvania. Great vocals (our instrument of choice), unique arrangements and a smooth blend are our hallmarks. Kalliope takes it's name and inspiration from the classic Muse of Greek mythology. She was the eldest of the Muses, the nine daughters of Zeus who were the Goddesses of the Arts. Her name translates to "beautifully voiced."

Our eclectic repertoire runs from jazz to pop to hymns. Performing different genres allows us to experiment musically, and the joy we have doing this gives our audiences something different. Kalliope is equally at home swinging a Sinatra standard, carressing a Billy Joel ballad, or wailing on a Doris Akers gospel hymn. Bring it on!
